Invasive Species Removal at Carruthers Park

We started working on the Scotch Broom at Carruthers Park last year and were so excited about regaining some of the river view, we are doing it again! If you have tools, we appreciate them, but we will try to have some extra clippers. Long sleeve shirts, pants, and garden/leather gloves are recommended. 

Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: This is also known as the Warrenton Dog Park. It is on a main road, with parking, a camp host's RV, bathroom, and fenced area. If you do not see us in the parking lot, follow the trail toward the river and we should be near the picnic area

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.
