Peace Memorial Park / Lloyd EcoDistrict Summer 2026 Cleanups
Join Lloyd EcoDistrict and SOLVE volunteers for our summer cleanups at Peace Memorial Park. These cleanups are based in Peace Memorial Park and cover the surrounding areas (Eastbank Esplanade, Duckworth Dock, Moda Center, and Convention Center). The clean-up events will include trash pick-up, sprucing up Peace Memorial Park, and painting over or removing graffiti around the area.
Peace Memorial Park, located at the intersection of NE Oregon Street and NE Lloyd Boulevard, is connected to the Eastbank Esplanade and offers sweeping views of the Willamette River and downtown skyline. Established to honor victims of war, both military and civilian, the park is an important public space that benefits from ongoing community care.
Advanced Registration: Is required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.
Meeting Location: Volunteers will be inside of Peace Memorial Park. Peace Memorial Park is located at the intersection of NE Oregon St and NE Lloyd Blvd (just east of the Steel Bridge and west of the Oregon Convention Center).

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.
What's Provided: Lloyd EcoDistrict will provide all tools & supplies, including heavy-duty garbage bags, safety vests, vinyl gloves, litter grabbers, rakes, paintbrushes, paint, graffiti remover, etc. We will also have water and snacks.
Restrooms: No public restrooms are available
Parking: Walking/biking to the event is encouraged. Peace Memorial Park is less than a 5-minute walk to Rose Quarter MAX Station. Metered street parking and private parking lots are also available in the general area of Lloyd for car parking.
Transit: Peace Memorial Park is less than a 5-minute walk from the Rose Quarter MAX Station.
Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.
Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
