Join the Portland Fruit Tree Project for an Earth Day Work Party at Fruits of Diversity Orchard! We’ll be weeding, mulching, pest prevention, and cutting back blackberries to keep this beautiful space thriving. No experience needed—just bring gloves, any tools you like to use, and a water bottle. We will bring extra gloves, tools, snacks, and coffee~

Portland Fruit Tree Project cares for and harvests fruit trees in the Portland area to increase access to fresh, delicious fruit. Helping us maintain our community orchards keeps them healthy and productive so that we can distribute more fruit to neighbors in need. https://www.portlandfruit.org/

Advanced Registration: Is not required. Please sign up (green button below).

Meeting Location: Volunteers will be meeting at the Fruits of Diversity Community Orchard. Look for the PFTP sign!

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: Extra work gloves, tools, snacks, and coffee~

Restrooms: Restrooms will be available at the Charles Jordan Community Center across the street from the orchard.

Parking: Attendees can use visitor spots in the Tamarack Apartments parking lot or park on the street (N Trenton or N Alaska).

Transit: Line 4 Route stops right next to the orchard at N Trenton & Alaska (Stop ID 40 or 5862)

Accessibility: This area may not be easily accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
