2026 Bald Mountain Forest Cleanup

Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office will be joining forces with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and other local organizations to clean up the Bald Mountain area in rural Sheridan, Oregon on Saturday May 30st, 2026. Unsightly garbage is harmful to plants and animals. It can pollute water sources and promote the growth of noxious weeds.

The event will concentrate not only on the Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) area on Bald Mountain but will also focus on the remainder of the mountain in areas such as Baker Creek, Peavine, Meadow Lake, White Road, Willamina Creek, Coast Creek, Wanless Road and all points in between.

Volunteers should wear a long sleeve shirt, long pants, work gloves and sturdy shoes or work boots. Bring rain gear, just in case. Come get your hands dirty, meet some wonderful people and help keep our forests clean!

Checkin Starts at 9am.
