Alton Baker Park Earth Day Cleanup

Celebrate Earth Day at Alton Baker Park in Eugene! Roam trails in the park's Whilamut Natural Area, gather litter and recyclables, meet other park visitors and learn more about Nearby Nature.

Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: Volunteers will be meeting in the Water-Wise Garden in front of Nearby Nature at 622 Day Island Rd. Look for the SOLVE signs.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: Trash bags, grabbers, gloves, a map.

Restrooms: Flush toilet, sink and hot/cold water tap.

Parking: Carpool if possible. Auto parking available at the Community Garden lot, bike parking at Nearby Nature.

Transit: Eugene bus line stops frequently at the west entrance to Alton Baker.

Accessibility: This area may not be easily accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
