Powellhurst-Gilbert Neighborhood Cleanup

Come meet your neighbors in Powellhurst-Gilbert and join us for a monthly neighborhood clean-up!

In March we will be meeting at The Daily Planet (11312 SE Powell Blvd). Look for SOLVE signs in their parking lot. We will meet as a group in the beginning and then break off to clean up the surrounding streets and area.

Come a bit early, or stay a bit late for a free breakfast special provided by Daily Planet (2 eggs with potatoes and toast or 2 eggs with bacon or sausage- no changes or substitutions/ one per person/ must be an event volunteer)

We’ll provide all tools you'll need, but feel free to bring your own tools or supplies, if you have them! Let’s make a positive impact together. All ages welcome!

Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: Volunteers will be meeting in the parking lot of The Daily Planet (11312 SE Powell Blvd). Look for SOLVE signs, so we can all park in the same area.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: Gloves, safety vests, litter grabbers, bags, and buckets.

Restrooms: Public restrooms are available

Parking: Parking available in lot. Look for SOLVE signs, so we can all park together and not take up too much space.

Transit: nearby bus lines on both 112th & Powell Blvd

Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
