Celebrate Earth Month: Lents Park Cleanup

Since 1970, folks all over the world have come together during the month of April to advocate for environmental protections and take action to care for our ecosystems. SOLVE invites you and your community to step into that role of service with us throughout the month of April. Join us at Lents Park to collect litter and recyclables in the surrounding area.  

Every piece of litter that is collected helps to divert trash from leaching into our soils, polluting our waterways, or disrupting the homes of our animal friends. Come gather together with your neighbors to clean up our city and enjoy snacks and beverages at the end of our event! 

Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: We will be meeting in the courtyard next to the playground at Lents Park, along SE Steele St. Look for SOLVE signs and tables!

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: Litter grabbers, gloves, safety vests, and trash bags will be provided.

Restrooms: Public restrooms are available at the park.

Parking: Street parking is available surrounding the park.

Transit: Take Trimet #17 or the MAX Green Line to SE Holgate & SE Holgate Blvd Max Station.

Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
