122nd & Holgate Blvd Cleanup

Join SOLVE for a litter cleanup in the Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood! We'll meet in the Electric Lettuces' parking lot for sign-in, supply distribution, and a brief safety talk. Afterwards, we'll branch off into the neighborhood and surrounding streets to clean up. Come out to meet your neighbors and care for our environment together! 
 

At this event, you may encounter or be exposed to the following elements:

• Close proximity to active unhoused communities.
• Close proximity to abandoned unhoused encampments.
• The presence of used hypodermic needles among the garbage.
• Other hazardous materials such as bio-waste.

Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: We will be meeting in the Electric Lettuce parking lot on the corner of 122nd & Holgate. Look for SOLVE tables and canopies.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: Litter grabbers, gloves, safety vests, and trash bags will be provided.

Restrooms: No public restrooms are available

Parking: Limited Parking will be available in the parking lot, with additional street parking available on 122nd and Holgate Blvd.

Transit: Trimet #17 can be taken to SE Holgate & 122nd

Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
