Sparrow Park Beach Clean up

Collecting litter and marine debris along the beach, this will be part of the Oregon Spring Cleanup in honor of Earth Day. Forest Service has been working with SOLVE, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving Oregon’s natural environment.
Special instructions: The event is now taking place at Umpqua Beach #2 Day Use OHV Staging Area. This is just south of Winchester Bay.
Advanced Registration: Is required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.
What's Provided: Solve trash bags, gloves, tongs, and sharp containers
Restrooms: No public restrooms are available
Parking: Parking is limited at the entrance of the beach
Transit: Not available nearby
Accessibility: This area may not be easily accessible for folks with mobility concerns.
Translation Services: There will be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
