Detrash Portland: Holiday Cleanup at The Benson!

This December, join the festivities while giving back to downtown Portland at SOLVE's Detrash Cleanup outside The Benson Hotel. We'll kick things off with a quick check-in, hand out supplies, review a few safety tips, and then head out to clear up litter. All cleanup supplies are provided, just bring your holiday spirit and dress for the weather! 🌟🔔❄️

This event is part of our ongoing efforts to revitalize downtown through the Detrash Portland series. 

Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: We will be meeting outside of The Benson Hotel. Look for the SOLVE table and signs!

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Optional: bring a backpack for hands-free convenience and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: Gloves, vests, grabbers, and bags.

Restrooms: Bathrooms are available inside the hotel.

Parking: There is street parking available nearby, as well as a a lot just south of the hotel down Broadway.

Transit: The MAX Green and Red Line, and bus #12.

Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
