Detrash Portland: Show Some Love for Downtown at The Benson

This February, show some love to Portland's downtown core at SOLVE's Detrash Cleanup outside The Benson Hotel. We'll start with a quick check-in, grab supplies, cover safety basics, and then head out to give downtown the TLC it deserves. All supplies provided - just dress for the weather! 

Volunteers will also score complimentary See’s Chocolates as a thank-you for spreading the love. Clean streets + chocolate = true romance, right?  Bring a friend, a date, or your favorite flannel, and let's love Portland from the center out - see you there!
 

Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: We will be meeting outside of The Benson Hotel. Look for the SOLVE table and signs!

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Optional: bring a backpack for hands-free convenience and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: Gloves, vests, grabbers, and bags.

Restrooms: Bathrooms are available inside the hotel.

Parking: There is street parking available nearby, as well as a a lot just south of the hotel down Broadway.

Transit: The MAX Green and Red Line, and bus #12.

Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
