Oaks Bottom Litter Pickup

Join Friends of Oaks Bottom and SOLVE to keep Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge clean for trail users and wildlife! Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge is a 163-acre floodplain wetland that sits along the east bank of the Willamette River and is the largest remaining natural area within the lower reach of the Willamette providing necessary habitat for fish and wildlife. Native wildlife populations include threatened salmon and more than 175 species of birds. Everyone is welcome; no experience is necessary!

Advanced Registration: Is required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: Meet in the parking lot to the North Entrance of Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge on Milwaukie Ave., across from SE Mitchell St.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: Volunteers will be provided with work gloves, heavy duty garbage bags and litter grabbers.

Restrooms: No public restrooms are available

Parking: The small parking lot might fill up. Nearby street parking is available if the parking lot is full.

Transit: Trimet buses #70 and #4

Accessibility: This area may not be easily accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
