NW Industrial Business Partner Cleanup - East/West Zone - MORNING

Start your day by making an impact in the NW Industrial District!

Join businesses, neighbors, and community partners for a collaborative cleanup of the East and West Zones of the NW Industrial District. Together, we’ll tackle litter along key entry points, major throughways, and surrounding neighborhood streets—helping create a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming district for everyone who lives, works, and visits here.

This is a great opportunity to get outside, work alongside fellow business partners, and neighbors, and make a visible difference in just two hours. Every bag of litter removed helps protect our waterways, wildlife, and the people who use these streets every day.

Important Note:
This cleanup and the East/West cleanup on the same day is organized into zones (zone maps available at check-in), each with its own check-in location and volunteer registration page. Please register for the location where you plan to start and finish your cleanup. Supplies will be provided at each check-in site and volunteers are welcome to participate in both opportunities, but supplies will be availble only at the locations during the times of the events. 

Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: Meetup location at Edge Asset Management @ 2233 NW 23rd; look for SOLVE signage, canopy, tables, and SOLVE staff.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: All tools and equipment provided; deluxe litter grabbers, collection containers, protective work gloves, and high-visibility safety vests. A safety and event briefing provided to all volunteers.

Restrooms: Restrooms available at area retail businesses, please plan accordingly.

Parking: On-street parking available near the check in site.

Transit: 15-Belmont/NW 23rd (runs every 15 minutes or less most of the day, every day, connecting NW 23rd to downtown, SE Portland, and Gateway).

Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
