July 5th Roads End Beach and Neighborhood Clean-up

Every year on July 4th visitors and residents leave behind fireworks and picnic debris both on Roads End Beach and in the neighborhood.  This has become a serious environmental, health and safety concern.  Since 2016, the Roads End Improvement Association (REIA) has coordinated a volunteer clean-up of Roads End Beach and the neighborhood on the morning of July 5th, from 10:00 am-1:00 pm.

The primary registration site for this clean-up will be at the Roads End State Park, 5901 NW Logan Road, Lincoln City, but you can avoid the lines by pre-registering with SOLVE.

At the registration site, you can pick up clean-up supplies, including bags, buckets, grabbers, and safety materials.  An REIA member will assist you and show you where to leave your debris bag when you’ve finished the clean-up.  That’s it!  Please contribute to the overall sustainability of our area and join us for this popular eco -tourism event.   We’ll see you on the 5
th!
