Earth Day Clean and Green Event

Join community partners - City of Salem's Clean Streams & Parks, Mid-Willamette Outreach Group, and CastawayWU for an Earth Day event - Clean and Green Cascades Gateway Park! Volunteers will be joining Willamette University Students for litter pick up and trail maintenance. Come celebrate Earth Day by caring for a local Salem park and help protect local waterways in the process! 

All supplies provided. Participants under 18 needs to have a parent or guardian sign the waiver. Please dress for the weather, wear closed toe shoes, and bring a reusable water bottle. 

Advanced Registration: Is required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: Look for the blue Clean Streams canopy to check in.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: Trash grabbers, gloves, trash bags, hand tools for trail maintenance

Restrooms: Port-o-potty for volunteer use

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
