Jade District and 82nd Avenue Spring Cleanup 2026

The Jade District and 82nd Avenue need your help cleaning our streets after the April 25th 82nd Avenue of Roses Parade. We will provide trash grabbers, safety vests, gloves, and trash bags. We just need you to walk the streets to help shine up our community by collecting litter. Please join us on April 26th from 9:30 a.m. to noon. You are welcome to start and leave at any time during the event, but you need to check in and out at the APANO Event room on the ground floor of the 8188 SE Division Street, Orchards of 82nd, building for training and equipment distribution.

Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: APANO Event room on the ground floor of the Orchards of 82nd apartment building. Look for signs at the SE Division street entrance

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: We will provide trash grabbers, safety vests, gloves, and trash bags.

Restrooms: The APANO space will allow people to use the bathrooms during the cleanup

Parking: No parking is available at the building but Portland Community College across the street does not require permits on weekends and neighborhood street parking is available.

Transit: Both the Division FX 2 bus line and the 72 Bus line stop at this location

Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
