Governor Patterson Memorial State Recreation Site Adopted-A-Beach
SOLVE was founded in 1969 with a focus on cleaning Oregon's beautiful beaches. 57 years later this tradition continues. Spring is the best time to enjoy the Oregon Coast, and perfect time to reflect on the significance of preserving the natural treasures that brings joy and tranquility to our lives. We invite you to join our family at Governor Patterson Memorial State Recreational Site for the International Coastal Clean up.
Please bring yourself, a friend, your dog on leash and the whole family. We encouraged you to bring any personal supplies such as work gloves, buckets, trash grabbers, micro plastic sifter, etc. to help save on resources and eliminate more waste. This beach clean up is rain or shine please remember to bring what you’ll need to keep yourself protected from the elements and water to stay hydrated during the event.
Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.
Meeting Location: the parking lot of Governor Patterson Memorial State Recreational Site look for the SOLVE signs.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.
What's Provided: Trash bag and plastic glove are provided

Parking: Governor Patterson Memorial State Recreational Site has a large parking lot.

Accessibility: This area may not be easily accessible for folks with mobility concerns.
