Polish the Pearl: Clean & Create

Please join SOLVE for a litter cleanup in the Pearl District! We will meet at Jamison Square, where you can sign in and pick up your supplies. Then, we will branch off for cleanup throughout the Pearl after a brief safety talk, working to beautify our neighborhoods and create a healthier environment. After the event, please join us for an hour of creativity where we will be led through a sustainable art activity by the wonderful Fry! You can check out their work at https://www.kfrydraws.com. Together, we will polish up the Pearl District and get creative before the bustling crowds roll in for all the fun of First Thursdays! 

Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: We will be meeting in the corner of the park near NW 11th and Johnson. Look for SOLVE tables and signs!

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: Litter grabbers, gloves, safety vests, and trash bags will be provided.

Restrooms: Restrooms are available at the park.

Parking: Street parking is available surrounding the park.

Transit: Take the streetcar, Train A or NS, to NW 10th & Johnson or NW 11th & Johnson. Trimet #24 can also be taken to NW 18th & Lovejoy.

Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
