Clean & Green: Downtown Vancouver Cleanup with Couve Collective

Join us in partnership with Couve Collective in Downtown Vancouver for a litter cleanup focused on caring for the places where our community gathers. As part of SOLVE’s Clean & Green series, this cleanup emphasizes working side by side, building relationships, and caring for shared spaces in the heart of the city.

Volunteers will check in on-site, receive cleanup supplies, and hear a brief safety overview before heading out to remove litter from the surrounding streets and public spaces. Every piece of trash collected helps create a cleaner, more welcoming downtown for residents, businesses, and visitors alike.

For our public transit commuters: The City of Vancouver is pleased to offer free C-TRAN bus passes for this event, as part of their efforts to encourage community involvement. Passes must be used within Clark County. 19 years old plus (18 and under ride free). If you would like to request a pass, please email Abby Boyle at abby@solve.org. 

Clean & Green is a traveling cleanup and restoration series designed to spotlight community-loved parks and natural areas throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington. Together, we tackle litter, restore habitats, and build momentum for a cleaner, greener, more resilient region.

Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: We will be meeting in the Couve Collective parking lot. Look for the SOLVE vehicle and table!

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: Bags, grabbers, vests, and gloves.

Restrooms: Bathrooms are available inside Couve Collective.

Parking: There is street parking available nearby. Please refrain from parking in the Couve Collective lot in order to safe space for their constituents.

Transit: Bus #105 and #25.

Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
